Ineligible group and small company accounts

Ineligible group and small company accounts

Didn't find your answer?

I thought ineligible groups could not prepare accounts number the small companies regime?

Some background, the ulitmate parent company is listed in the EU, for prior years a few subsidardies were prepared under the small companies regime, they were audited by a major firm and signed off. So now I'm doubting myself.

Thank you in advance

Yes - all non-dormant companies in a group that includes a traded company (previously "public" company) cannot qualify as a small company. A traded company is one whose shares are traded in any EU country.
