IRIS Accounts Production on Terminal Server

IRIS on Terminal Server

Didn't find your answer?

Before I ask my question, can I please ask that we do not turn this into a discussion about the relative merits of IRIS software or their service.

It is what it is.

My client implemented IRIS over  a year ago.
In advance of this we replaced the entire infrastructure. A new server (virtualised with dedicated SQL Server, Application Server, Terminal Server etc.), PCs, switches and confirmed that IRIS will run in a Terminal Server / Remote Desktop Services environment.
The total environment has been built to the prerequisites given by IRIS.

Our remote users experience frequent crashes, especially when printing reports (to local printers) or running Automail.

We have used the LPO process to install the remote client.

The box standard answer from IRIS is to re-install the client, but as yet no one can tell me why it is happening.

Are we the only people experiencing this problem?
If you have solved it, or are running IRIS successfully over remote links, can you give me some suggestions on what you have done?

Thank you,

Paul

With whom did you confirm that IRIS would run in a TS/RD environment? Presumably you were given a reference site? Can you not check with the reference site to see whether they are having issues?
