The best thing about taxfiler was its value for money, they will kill it at this rate.

Me too. I noticed that bundling several documents into one for approval only requires one credit rather than the several that would otherwise be needed.
At present, I get approvals for each of a/cs, CT600, letter of representation and so on. This will require several credits.
Instead, what thoughts are there on getting a single approval for all the documents relating to a single year's ltd co a/cs bundled into one? This would only result in one credit being used. Acceptable professionally?

potentially this could be a big extra cost for us - easy to see why iris are doing it, with so many users, many will be in the thousands of documents for approval and they'll be adding £££££££ onto their turnover overnight

seems wrong that it can be used for free as long as there are no approvals, personally I'd prefer a flat fee thats fair for all if I have to pay

bundling documents could work, but I feel this would ony really be acceptable for one man bands, where there are mutiple partners / directors returns for approval, it would look a mess

what alternatives are there? would be interested to know

I received the same email and it was the straw that broke the camels back. Rang accounts manager for him to say that they didnt want the powers that be to send it out. Explained the accountancy sector is facing a min reduction in fees of 20% but realistically anything up to 40% with many clients going under. I suggested they look to reduce the quartery direct debit to which he said they cant afford to only for businesses that are against the wall. Now given notice to [email protected].
They obviously didnt learn from the mistakes that rightmove made with pricing to estate agents. Pure greed from a company that made £50m last year according to companies house.

We use Virtual Cabinet. Using their portal you can send unlimited amounts of documents, to unlimited number of clients and obtain an unlimited amount of signatures all for the same flat monthly fee . We love it.

Did anyone find an alternative to paying these approval charges? I see Adobe Sign have started charging more than a nominal amount now too. I do love these Free Forever* services.

* until we've trapped enough of you to then charge whatever we like.

We've used signrequest which was around £80 although its not an integrated solution.
