Hi all,

Is IRIS Openspace the best for sending documents to clients for approval or are there better / cheaters products that you would recommend?

I am loving Iris generally at my new firm and we are using Iris OpenSpace now for getting bits signed. There are elements that are cumbersome and you can't upload more than one document for signing at once. There's a merge work around and you can upload in two batches.
We had to do a set of guidance notes with screen shots for clients about how to register and how to sign stuff off. It clearly wasn't intuitive for the clients.
I used to use DocuSign previously, more intuitive I would say and I had less questions / issues with it, but I like the integration on Iris for setting it up.

I've always uploaded "Packs" that I created in PDF (eg accounts, CT600, letter of rep etc) the new merge feature does exactly the same and is great as it saves me work in PDF.

After 23 years, I dropped cumbersome, 20th century Iris 18 months ago but have to say Openspace does everything I need and it's free for me.

We used to use Hellosign to get documents electronically signed and then moved to IRIS openspace as were using IRIS so made sense to use openspace but clients didnt find it easy and intuitive to use. We ended up moving back to Hellosign. Although not as efficient for us as using IRIS openspace was worth it from the time saved in telling clients how to use IRIS openspace.

We no longer use IRIS having moved to taxcalc in July due to IRIS' inflation busting year on year price hikes.

We’ve been with IRIS 20 years but just started using OpenSpace this year. It doesn’t suit everyone but it has transformed our Practice and is saving a fortune in postage, Admin and stationery.
