I really like the Keytime Accounts Production and Corporation Tax products so I thought we should try Kashflow.
I have tried to use Kashflow with 2 clients over the last 12 months but have had no joy.
The bank reconciliation seems impossible and I spent all last week contacting Support and following their suggestions without getting a successful outcome.
Has anyone else given up or is anyone using it with great productivity?

Yes, we use it everyday for in house book-keeping, and have most of our clients using it successfully.
Re the bank reconciliation, I think there's 2 options, perhaps go into settings>advanced to see if there's a checkbox for bank reconciliation choice and either tick or untick it and then have a look to see if the bank rec works better. (One option is the old legacy version which had it's problems, but needs to be kept as issues arise changing from one to another). The modern bank rec is no different to other software so I don't know why you'd have problems with it.
We use it because it has some "efficiency" features such as being able to post a payment on the same screen as entering the sales/purchase invoice (instead of having to enter payments via a different screen). It also allows for mass reallocation of entries if the client has posted things to the wrong place (avoiding time consuming journals or "item by item" correction).
Not had any problems with it myself.
@Ken, most of the other software also allows bulk updates now. Xero's is quite decent for example. They seem to all copy each other, no matter which you use.
I had a few construction clients on Kashflow as it did CIS but took them all off about 18 months ago as felt it was a god awful product and no where near as good as other options clients also used to mess it up more than say Xero or QBO.
Also IRIS have a history of buying these products so no one else can have them, then introduce them to a slow painful IRIS death. (Accounting Websmiths etc)
I would say Kashflow is the worst of the main players in cloud space

Thanks Glenn - you saved me an almost identical post. The most weird and horrible of all the Cloud systems I use, I dread logging into it. I've already told my only KF client that I'll make their life a lot easier next year.
As above.
Xero certainly has a bulk re-code function that works very well and you can also enter payments against sales / purchase invoices on the same screen after entering the invoice.
Xero is not flawless, but it is certainly the only cloud accounting software that gives me joy when I log on.
In contrast, QuickBooks Online give me stabbing pains.
We have about 100 clients on Xero but given we use IRIS were going to look at Kashflow given the direct integration.
We did look at Kashflow about a year ago and had difficulty trying to use it ourselves so if we have difficulty what will clients be like.
Understood that it had been improved in the last year and was going to revisit it early next year but above may result in a rethink.
What do others do? Recommend one cloud option as their preferred option or take on clients who use anything. We have 2 clients use Kashflow, 1 use SAGE desktop, 1 use QB desktop and 1 use Freeagent (this is from memory of what clients use). All others that use an accounts package use Xero which is about 100. Some use it themselves and some we have them on to do their bookkeeping and VAT returns.
