is client authorisation not working?

Tried to request authorisation online. Got all the way through and then "sorry, the system is unavailable, please try again later." Not had this before on this particular process. Address and UTR all correct. Anyone else in the same boat?

HMRC are aware and working on it, no idea why they don't update their webpage for the issue..

A client I attempted to authorise last week and couldn't has disappeared from my to be authorised list and appeared on my client list today. It might be worth checking in a day or so.

I have quite a backlog of requests now, and I bet they take ages to clear all the built up requests.

Good job it isnt a busy time of year.

Regrettably, the MTD VAT still isn't. The same localhost message keeps appearing.
