Good Morning,
I deleted the email address that i used with my SA online services as i was getting way too much spam. I have since updated my email address with SA online and on BTC and in the Moneysoft Payroll programme but i am not getting any government gateway notifications like i used to before when filing anything online. I have spoken to HMRC on line services helpdesk who confirm they have the correct email and that i should update my email in the third party software i am using.
Is everyone else still getting the gateway emails?

Yes, still getting them.
We direct all of ours into a separate folder & generally don't even look at them unless there is a subsequent denial of receipt. Currently have 5,000+ unread emails in that folder.
I am still receiving ok but also still receive emails (to my private email address - set up as a recovery??) for an employer I left over 4 years ago! No-one can resolve it - HMRC won't talk to me as I am nothing to do with the company/can't pass security etc - old employer says none of my details are on the Gateway etc - it is just one of those great HMRC mysteries.
Yeah, still get them. I just file them in a separate folder just in case there's a query. If there ever is one, I don't know how long it would take me to find the right acknowledgement - they all look the same.

I too keep them in a separate folder on Outlook and the only time I had to find one I searched on paye ref and then looked around the date I was expecting the submission receipt. Worked fine.
