Is Indian Property tax an expense or tax?

Is Indian property tax treated as an expense like rates, or as foreign tax paid?

Didn't find your answer?

I have copy of Indian tax return entries, but have been advised by client the property tax forgotten by Indian accountant.

Should I increase expenses, or treat as extra foreign tax paid?

We treat the French property taxes as expenses as it's the equivalent of rates

Agree with accountantccole.

Taxes are normally only reported as tax when they are related to profits.

So, everybody's quite happy with the OP using cucumbers to make banoffee pie, are they?

You could probably get away with it as decoration on a key lime pie.
