Hi, I am currently experiencing issues submitting CT600's on CCH. CT600's can sometime take hours to be accepted by HMRC and to receive a confirmation email, regardless of whether it is a busy deadline day or not. Other times, we will receive a confirmation email from HMRC saying the return has been successfully accepted but our software is still trying to submit the return!

Having spoken with CCH, they have advised me that it is not a software issue but an issue with HMRC accepting the returns.

I was just wondering if anyone was experiencing similar isses with other software providers?

HMRC had their CT system down 8-8 on Sunday, so the fact it is not working efficiently today is perhaps unsurprising given HMRC's amazing grasp of technology!

I had similar with Capium today.

On another note until yesterday, I was unaware you can't file with Companies House on Sundays or Bank Holidays having tried numerous times yesterday. I found a hint at it on an accountant's website. It sailed through this morning.

I hasten to add I only have about 10 limited company clients.

The only times i have really noticed issues is on last days of calendar months - sometimes hmrc stop supply submision receipts but do confirm return has been received. We use btc

Agree the end of month issue for both companies house and HMRC
We use IRIS
