Leaving the EU and VAT MOSS

Didn't find your answer?

Hi All, apologies if this has been asked previously but i have been doing a little research into the effect of Leaving the EU (i refuse to call it Brexit) and the VAT MOSS process.

As i understand it the company would need to re-register as a non-union MOSS member in one of the remaining EU-27 states and this will most likely entail having to register for VAT in that country and submit VAT returns there as well.

Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom for this?

Cheers

Thanks Wanderer, I had seen that section and it mentions joining MOSS as a non-union member but that entails having to register in one of the EU-27 member states to do so and was looking for thoughts on that.

Cheers

I agree with your conclusion about having to register in an EU MS.
Unless Mrs May's exit agreement provides for a UK registration to be valid.

Thanks Les, as with everything that is occurring with this debacle there are no details for us to use to usefully plan ahead.

Quite right - it's a UKXIT but who can pronounce that?
