A family member and I jointly own a property which we started to rent out six years ago. We want to make an unprompted disclosure through Let Property Campaign. Our ‘books’ are easy to understand and we have the backup. We’re curious to understand a) the fees involved here and b) the fine %

Talk to an accountant
Penalties problematic. Depends how you try to explain why you both evaded tax. As it is two of you, how two of you thought that profits from renting are not taxable.
