Gov.uk has posted "Essential maintenance to our online services: Maintenance from 8am to 8pm on Saturday 23 January will affect confirmation receipts for online filing.
It might take longer to get your confirmation receipt if you file online between 8am to 8pm on Saturday 23 January. This includes software filing.
Any disruption will be minimal and our online services are available to use as normal. We’re sorry for any inconvenience."
Having checked with HMRC, this does not apply to HMRC online services, but comes from Companies House – will this cause trouble?

It's only receipts that are affected, so not really any more troublesome than all the other minor inconveniences that UK Gvt's "world class IT" causes.
How inconvenient. I expect to be spending the 23rd filing the accounts for all of my clients that have 23 April 2020 year-ends. Now I'm going to spend the day worrying about whether they've been received or not.

Tsk, Wilson. You have a three month extension for your 23rd April year ends. It's your 23rd January year ends that you need to whittle about.
It's OK - I'm going to shorten all the 23 January (and 23 April) ARDs by 1 day.
Arrrghh - now you need to whittle about your 23rd October 2019 year ends !!
I'm fine, there. I don't have any - they're all 24th October year-ends so I'll be able to file on the 24th Jan, when CH systems should be back up and running.
