Missing 'view all xx replies' bar

Missing 'view all xx replies' bar

Didn't find your answer?

On the 30th May I reported my problem in accessing all replies to questions. The responses suggest I was not the only sufferer.

I phoned Accounting Web and was instructed to send an email to the editor, this I did on 3rd June.

I stiill have the problem and no reply to my email either.

Can some one help?

Well, look on the bright side; at least everything's still bright orange with a huge font.

I get the same.

The only work around is to log out, then you can see them.

The main issue is you cant post on a thread, you have
to do so in the main body.

Don't know if its to do with the new annoying pop ups. its seem to break around the same time as those turned up.

I thought that was just me! Resulted in a duplicated post & I have seen a few of those so I guess it is a common problem.

Sorry about this everyone. So we can get to the root of the problem a little quicker, could I ask which browser you're using to view the site (eg Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge etc)?

All the best,

Tom

*Reposting a response initially posted below for obvious reasons...*

Apologies for the continued difficulties, but our IT team is having trouble getting to the route of this. Would it be possible to get a bit more information?

Here's a short video of how to capture what we need:

https://www.loom.com/share/a571b84a44d4441bb87a0167aa14b68c

You might not have an issue following it, but for those IT amateurs like myself...

- Firstly right-click on a blank space on the page you're having trouble with
- Left-click on 'inspect' or 'inspect element'
- Then left-click on the 'console' tab.
- If you could then screenprint or take a snip of the code and email it to [email protected], our tech bods should be able to decode this mystery.

Having understood very little of what I just typed I'm going to disappear back to my accountancy journalism cave.

All the best,

Tom

A simpler solution would be to simply provide the whole page and not ask people to click on the option to look at a bit more. I am not sure there is any demand to keep this particular button.

A bit old fashioned still on Explorer. Would change to Chrome if it would help. But responses showed Chrome users also had a problem.

The first thing for anyone to try is to reload any cached files by reloading a page with Control F5 (that is hold Control down and press F5).

Ah, right. I see all the IT advice is now starting. Have you tried packing it in rice for 24 hours?

What sort of advice would you suggest? I could give some cooking tips, but I am not a very good cook.

I get emails notifying me of a reply, when I check the thread no new replies are visable. If I post a reply it gets hidden also. This all happens from my mobile. If I use a computer I can see everything including my own replies.

I use chrome on both mobile and pc.
