Tried to post an answer, and got a message that it is under review. A new policy, or am I under scrutiny?

It appears under Recent Replies, but no responses showing (yet)
Could just be that you've fallen foul of some sort of a board flooding measure; post too many replies too close together and it get's sent to a big pile for somebody to review in a few days' time.
I recall having a similar experience on a previous occasion when they were trying to repel spammers.
