Moneysoft and Self Isolation

Software Work Around

Didn't find your answer?

Got my first lead-swinger - er, I mean, self-isolator.  Obviously, Moneysoft hasn't come up with a fix to pay him from Day 1 of the absence.

I'm just going to record his absence as starting three days before it actually did to make the software give the right answer.

Unless anyone else has any better ideas ...........

https://moneysoft.co.uk/support/statutory-sick-pay-ssp

shows how to make an adjustment for this.

Hmm - I don't really get this method. You can't override the calculated SSP so the system doesn't record it as SSP. So the P60 will be wrong.

When you enter a figure into the 'Adjustments - SSP Adjustment' field (as described in the guide), it simply gets added to any SSP already calculated from periods of sickness entered on the Calendar.

The P60 will be correct (although SSP hasn't appeared on a P60 for a number of years.)

Nope. But I've told him to deduct £188.50 from his m12 PAYE and see what happens.
