Moneysoft issues

Problems with tax codes

Is anyone else having problems with Moneysoft? On the last update tax codes kept getting received over and over even after they were applied. This update just brings up tons of errors trying to receive tax codes.

All of these recent updates seem to have been a mess, and it's an eyesore now.

It's not Moneysoft, it's HMRC (again). HMRC's PAYE Desktop Viewer is failing the same way as Moneysoft.

Hi Paul. Yes, I had problems with Moneysoft giving error reports when I tried to use the "Download PAYE notices" function in tools.

I called Moneysoft and they confirmed it was due to problems at HMRC.

I have just retried this and the problem seems to have been resolved on my laptop. Is yours working now too?

I had a different one this morning. After an update today the software told me I hadn't filed the last 3 weeks RTI's when I had ( and I always keep a copy) A way round the problem was found by MS but apparently no one else has reported this

Bernard,

We are having a similar issue and MS have been less than helpful. We are adding new employees which are disappearing, we are being told RTIs have not been submitted when they have and changes in tax codes are not being stored, with it reverting to the previous codes. What was the work around that MS gave you? Thank you.

Their answer was to ignore the message that says RTI's have not been submitted (provided you know they have) and just select the one you want. I don't have any other problems ( as far as I can tell)
