Moneysoft & Windows

Conflict

Didn't find your answer?

I updated my laptop to the latest Windows 10.

Moneysoft won't work now. Doesn't even let me file RTI submissions.

Moneysoft says "Operation not supported on selected printer" but it won't let me change the printer. Anyone experienced anything similar?

Can you do anything at all?

Do you have multiple monitors?

Does this help:-

VT had problems with the a recent Windows update

Resulted in a code rewrite.

Any chance of moneysoft rewriting code, to ensure users are not inconvenienced?

Issues of this nature seem to be a compelling reason to use cloud software.

If those providers had a glitch then reasonable excuse against HMRC penalties may be easy

That does help a bit because I can see that no default printer is installed. I used to print to pdf. Then if I did need a hard copy I could access the pdf from the cloud on the office pc. There is no pdf printer option to install.

OK I had to make One Note for Windows 10 my default printer.
Then Moneysoft started working again.
Thanks for all your help! Much obliged.
