Hi to all you AM users out there.
I've had a moan about AM in the past, and about how some very simple and (presumably) easy enhancements could be made.
This time it's about the annual Tax Return bulk email requesting clients' documents. I have always emailed clients and attached our generic blank checklist in early April (via a bulk email from Outlook), which client's then complete and upload to their client portal (I use IRIS OpenSpace for this).
This year I thought I would send this bulk email out directly from AM. However, curiously, there is no facililty to attach the checklist.
Their suggestion is to provide a link to a different cloud platform (Google docs, etc.) so clients can download the checklist from there. I am loathed to direct clients to yet another online platform. I would have thought that AM would have incorporated this very simple facility. But it doesn't.
Apart from just wanting to have a moan, I was also wondering what workarounds other AM users have incorporated?

I asked them recently how to re-request that a document be e-signed after the initial automated reminders expire which happens a lot, they suggested re-uploading the document to start the whole process again which sounds clumsy so we forward the original from the timeline. Slightly better but not great. With adobe sign we can setup a specific reminder pattern (eg every 3 days until signed, that always works)
Overall I have few complaints but there are certainly a few things that would make it better (none of which seem to be on the suggestions board)
We have our questionnaires hosted on our website and include a link on the email
The other option would be to set up a canned message, do an email all (filtered for self assessment clients), and you can add an attachment to that
