New PopUp at the bottom of every single new screen

How to stop this?

Didn't find your answer?

The new update to this site is driving me crazy. I never pay any attention to adverts, particularly annoying ones.
But we now have an advert at the bottom of the screen and in the middle which can only be got rid of by clicking it off.

It obscures things I want to see further down.

Can I set up my account so that this central advert does not keep coming up?

If not, I shall be visiting the site even less than I did.
Because it seems more important to annoy people than welcome any contribution

Get an Ad-blocker if it bothers you.

Could be malware on your computer, I've certainly not had any pop ups.
I would suggesting downloading a program called malwarebytes and running it just to check.

It's this site, it's riddled with adverts of different types. When you use an adblocker, the site is over half empty.

Is it a little pop up at right hand bottom corner? If it is ones just popped up now, I hardly noticed tbh.

The ones I get are very prominent about 1 inch up and a ruler's length in the centre at the bottom of the screen.

I am getting the same. It is very frustrating but I scroll down and leave it there to avoid another one from appearing (if I remember).

The static ones aren’t too bad, just irritating. It’s the ones which have things that spin and twirl in them that do me in.
I suffers from bad ‘floaters’ in one eye, and the moving ads aggravate this as my eyes attempt to track them, while at the same time trying to read the proper text.

Hmm. I have a raspberry PI with PiHole and my own DNS server running on it, which all of my local traffic goes through.

What adverts?

Well, there are. There's Rock Pi, Banana Pi, and Orange Pi, as well as variety that aren't Pi. I don't know how many other than Raspberry will run PiHole, though (but those that run Linux should be able to).
