Non trading loan

Non trading loan

Didn't find your answer?

I have a property investment company with historical trading losses b/fwd from when it was property developing. It is likely to be sold but has an unconnected party loan which will be written off giving rise to a credit under non trading loan relationships. It strikes me that the trading losses b/fwd cannot be utilised against the credit. My fear is that the trading losses may not have been calculated correctly in the past and may in fact be non trading loan relationship deficits or management expenses if looked at correctly. I was wondering if I could come up with anything to reduce the CT burden on the non trading credit ?

Thanks
