Office expense

Hello,

I do have a client which have an office abroad. Can I claim it as a business expense? What kind of documents should I request? Do I have to change registered office address in CH as well?

Could you provide a little less detail?

How can anyone possibly give a sensible response to this?

Are you an adviser or are you the "client"?

You can't have a UK Ltd company with an address abroad as RO.

Technically, you can't even have a UK limited company.

Well they could have more than one office, who knows?

With this much information you can make up your own question and answer that.

If they are properly registered in that country as well and it is seen as a permanent establishment - Yes. If they aren't then the question is "why not?" or "is it really a valid business expense?"
You have to have a UK registered office for a UK company.

I would have thought the client might want to claim it, not you, but nothing surprises me these days.
