OFFSHORE COMPANY-UK DIRECTOR

UK RESIDENT PERSON BECOMES THE SOLE DIRECTOR OF AN OFFSHORE COMPANY!!

If a UK resident person becomes the sole Director of an off-shore company, should the company be registered at the Companies House in the UK? By becoming the Director, the control is now in the UK and my understanding is that the company will have to be registered with HMRC for corporation tax instead of NRL.

If this is so, how should I do all this? Do I write to the Companies House or can it be done on-line?

You will need to engage a UK accountant and provide them with the facts. If the company has to pay UK taxes then they would have to contact HMRC. Contacting Companies House would be no use at all.
