Online Agents Authorisation

HMRC Online Authorisation Broken?

Just trying to request a authorisation code for CT for a client.  Using the online system, I know I have got the UTR correct as this is from an HMRC form, and I know I have the company registration number correct as this is from Companies House.  HMRC's computer says NO.  Try again with the post code, computer still says NO.

Anybody got any ideas (like a contact number for HMRC) or do I have to go back to sending a paper 64-8 to HMRC in Newcastle (who do not reply)?

I had this recently but luckily the client had an online account so authorised me from there. Otherwise you will have to do a paper authorisation.
