Online filing problem - CT

Is anyone else having a problem filing corporation tax returns today.  Just tried to file one from Taxfiler and it seems to be hanging.  Message is that TF is communicating with the Gateway.  In my experience returns go through almost instantaneously but this one has been hanging for a good 30 minutes.  Have checked online service availability for CT but no issues shown.  Wondering if it's an issue with TF or the Gateway or the return.  Any thoughts anyone?

I had that with Digita this morning - eventually got the email from HMRC about an hour later - given you have had similar I presume it is an HMRC issue.

I also use Taxfiler and it took 4 hours to file a CT return this morning. Just doing another and it looks as though the problem is still there. I couldnt find anything on HMRC's site. Strange

Yup. Still waiting for a response to one submitted via Ftax, earlier this afternoon. "The Gateway is currently busy."

The return finally went through just after lunch yesterday. The funny thing was I then filed another return and that went straight through! I do think now it was an HMRC issue as just before the first return went through I tried to contact Hmrc online filing. All webchat advisors were busy and the telephone response was a recorded message saying they were experiencing technical difficulties and calls would take longer to answer. Just a shame that if it was at their end they couldn't see fit to update service availability thus saving us and them time and trouble!
