Online SA authorisation not showing on client list

Input Authorisation codes for 2 new SA clients 10 days ago (input accepted by the system) but the clients are not yet showing on my client list. Anyone have any idea how long our friends at HMRC's mighty computer system is currently taking to populate the client list with newly authorised clients? Or... should I prepare for a long wait for a useless telephone conversation!

Mine normally show up the next day, or within 48 hours at worst.

EDIT: indeed the one I authorised at 8:30 last night is there today.

Some practices (those with several users accessing hmrc online) have to "assign" authorised clients via www.gateway.gov.uk
select "manage clients"
then drop down list select assigned to nobody
then assign the list of clients to all / selected users as is preference.

Thanks. I tried that but the new clients don't show up there either.

Looks like it's the long unproductive phone call for me!

Mine are always there by the next day as well. As you say, it looks like a phone call to the online help desk. Good luck!

long useless telephone call awaits.
We had this happen commonly about a year ago. HMRC swore blind it cold not happen, but when I threatened to bring in my MP suddenly they said there were able to look into it, and 12 hours later all 4 appeared

Thank you all. Only a 20 minute call to a very pleasant lady. They will look into and fix the problem - I hope!
