Are HMRC online services down, or is it just me. Y'know, in January, when we are most likely to need them.

Update - Just seen on a QuickBooks group that everything is down no submissions or anything at HMRC as Govt Gateway is down.
i am having issues with xero and online vat - not funny on the filing deadline day
same issue with sage and vat so it does suggest all the hmrc vat is offline :(
MTD is a joke isn't it.
I bet there is more late returns currently than when they used to posted into Southend.
Fortunately most clients know HMRC have form for this.
We've been unable to file MTD VAT returns for the last few hours. We can log into SA. We've been having problems with the SA API and have to re-register twice in the last few days.

Ive successfully logged in to my Agent account earlier to check a client record, haven't tried any other submission services though.
Mmm I've had no problems! Today I've:-
Polled a Digital Tax account to download to our tax software. (Was a bit flaky but got the details on the third attempt.)
Filed SA returns.
Logged on to look at clients' SA accounts.
I can't log into my client services account but have just submitted a SA return successfully and received a Gateway Confirmation email?
According to Gov.uk's Service and Availability Issues for Self Assessment there is "Full service available"
I was able to submit a corporation tax return via taxfiler earlier (and had submission receipt) and have been into my agent account several times this morning to check various things (in self assessment, Corporation Tax and PAYE) (don't you just love being logged out after ten minutes!) but can no longer get in.
Hoping this is just a temporary glitch!

There are some problems with logging into the BTA and also 503 errors from the APIs.
I haven't been able to login to my HMRC agent's page for more than two hours.
Perhaps HMRC should extend the 31 January deadline by the number of hours their website is unavailable during January?
Ok the vat mtd issue how now been resolved i think.
seems to be back up and running - submitted via Xero and QBO
It's back - for me at least :-)
Just tried and I was allowed in for the first time today.
And it's gone again.
