I buy all of my Christmas gifts for my very few friends at Staples.co.uk. Their Christmas sale usually kicks off around mid-November. Last year I got my friend Gregory 6 packs of HP A4 paper (80 gsm) all for the low low price of £24.50. That's 3000 sheets of mid-quality A4 for £24.50. As you're on this forum and have clearly read the rules prior to posting, I'll assume you have a financial background so I'll let you work out what a phenomenal deal I got on the PPS (Price Per Sheet). That price, of course, does not include delivery. I'll be cold and dead in a shallow grave at the hands of one of my many enemies before I fall foul to delivery charges. I would suggest you do the same and simply carry any purchases you may make in the Staples.co.uk Christmas sale to a mode of transportation that can accommodate them. That all depends on the girth of the item and your comparative strength. If you buy a stapler for example you can just carry that home in your bag or pocket (if you have big pockets). If you buy an office chair, you can of course wheel it home, but you risk damaging the castors. I would suggest you take this home on public transport so you can guarantee yourself a seat during rush hour. If you buy a ringbinder and have pierced ears, ensure the ringbinder isn't pinched by opportunistic thieves and put it through your lug hole. Anyway, don't know if Gregory liked his present. Had to leave it on his doorstep. Haven't seen him for over a year. Never returns my calls. Phone must be broken.
A wisened response. Perhaps it was my folly that I didn't get him a joblot of Bic pens at the same time. Oh well. Good thing about Christmas is that (much like the Staples.co.uk sale) it happens every year!

On a serious note however, I hear there might be a big sale coming up soon at Sports Direct.
