OpenWrks acquisition by Tink - implications?

Xero and other feeds use OpenWrks which has now been acquired by a Swedish company

Didn't find your answer?

Just wondering about GDPR and other implications of this for clients. Other than in English, Tink is a silly name. What do you tink?

Like when Ford called their new model the Pinto ... and then found it couldn't be sold anywhere in South America (particularly in Brazil)?

The point about Open Banking is that writing the code to interface with lots of banks even though the interfaces are the same is actually quite difficult. I know because I have done it. Hence for anyone working in that space reducing the number of competitors has merit. Once the code has been written, however, maintaining it is not that difficult.
