Ordinary Shares - Estranged Parent on Form

Didn't find your answer?

Hello! My dad recently found some shares gifted by my godfather when I was a kid. They're not worth much but honestly, anything helps at this point...

The only problem is that the ordinary share certificate states 'This is to certify that My Mother's Name A/C My Initials' is the registered owner of the shares. ' These shares were gifted when I was just a baby, so I understand that as a minor, I couldn't hold these shares.

... I'm estranged from my mother. Is there any way to claim these due to the A/C/is there any less complex way than having to contact her to gain these? Many thanks - clueless so any form of advice is much appreciated.

This isn’t an accounting question. I would call the registrar and ask them.
