Oversees employee on UK payroll

Didn't find your answer?

Hello, we are UK company. One of our employees lives in Singapore, however is paid via UK payroll. No taxes or NI is paid in UK. It appears that we should completing IR8A form to give to employee. However, i am unable to find much information on this and not sure if there is a criteria etc. Do any of you come accross IR8A form? thank you

Are you sure they shouldn't be on a payroll in Singapore & the IR8A flow from that?

employee has UK contract and we dont have a subsidiary in Singapore. i believe the set up is correct at the moment. I am not sure what is our responsibility as an employer in terms of reporting taxes etc in Singapore. i thought these would be done locally by employee.
