Dear accounting community,
Company director doing my own PAYE (RTI), returns, payslips, P60 etc...
Was using HMRC PAYE tool but after an update, it kept crashing and lost the stored P60.
Would like to recover older P60s by filling in templates however, I am not sure how to do the NIC section with all those LEL, PT, etc..
Is there an online P60 creator/calculator?
The current software doesn't create P60 from previous years submissions.
Hope my questions makes sense.
Thanks

There is free payroll software much better than HMRC's rubbish if it's just for one person. I think 12pay does some worth looking at. Or are they called something else now? Do a bit of googling.
You should have a record of the gross and net amounts so start there and input it in a good payroll software per above.
However if there is NI on the Director salary then the DIY accounting you are doing may be sub-optimal from a tax perspective.
I believe you've lost all that information.
One lesson I've learned is that you can't rely on HMRC - or anyone else, for that matter - to store stuff for you.
Print it off or save it on your own computer as a pdf or summat.
Bit late now, obviously. If only you'd had an accountant who could've advised you ........
You might be able to recover something from your SA account but it won't be in the form of a copy P60.
Do you know the numbers that should be on the P60 ? Do you need an actual P60 ?
No idea. But, if it's just the form you need, I believe you can download a blank of the HMRC website to be completed by hand.
Try Googling 'novelty P60s' and it takes you to this website, from which I quote:
"A novelty P60 can represent a summary of your yearly earnings, or a proof of employment and income. These entertaining yet realistic documents are perfect to buy for a gift, or for your own personal enjoyment. A P60 document is also used to create a realistic aura around TV and movie sets within production studios."
