PAYE on-line filing

PAYE on-line filing

Didn't find your answer?

I received the latest issue of HMRC's 'Working Together' about a week ago.

Under the section on how to get the £250 for on-line filing of the PAYE returns, they say "Letters telling employers that the tax-free payment has been credited to their payment record started going out in June".

We sent about 120 such returns but we've heard nothing about any of them. Today I've been told by someone at HMRC that we'll be lucky to get the letter this side of Xmas.

Are others getting the same messages or are they just picking on me?

All now processed - allegedly
I was at an Inland Revenue Consultation Panel meeting on Wednesday where we were assured that all returns had now been processed and that the confirmation letters would be coming out over the course of the next two weeks - we wait with bated breath and a certain amount of scepticism !!
