PAYE registration

PAYE registration

Didn't find your answer?

Over the last few years I have registered many many clients for PAYE schemes, quick call, questions answered, all paperwork and references through within a week sometimes two.

In the last month I have registered four seperate PAYE schemes online through the "register for HMRC taxes" section on my agent screen - as HMRC advise you to do, and thus far NOT ONE of the applications has received any communication other than the acknowledgement email when the application was made (first one done 12th Feb)

Is it just me......... :-(

Have registered two in the last 2 weeks

...but I didn't do it through the agent screen, just standard online 'register as an employer' application.

Paperwork came through in less than 10 days.

Do it the old way

I agree with Kent.

Do it the old way by Registering by email and it comes through surprisingly quickly.

Did a PAYE registration through HMRC online agent on 22 Feb, received approval on 26 Feb by online message. Didn't receive an email acknowledgement upon registering though and no PAYE details received by post as of yet.
