Paying Wages by BACS for Clients

Paying Wages by BACS for Clients

Didn't find your answer?

I wonder if anyone can tell me of what it is I would need to apply for, to make BACS payments from a clients bank account for their employees wages?

I know that the employer can provide me with a log on code etc, as you would for gaining access yourself.  But I am sure I read somewhere that there is a BACS scheme of some sort, whereby as agents (being a third party rather than an employee), I can be a member of?  Perhaps it is something whereby I am known as a trustworthy user or something?  Does anyone know what it is I am trying to find out?

Many Thanks

Caspar

Just a minute - your professional indemnity insurance may not cover you for this. It would be worth a call to your insurer first before making any firm decisions.

Hi thanks for giving me the presence of mind to check Moonbeam. I have just spoken with my PI insurer and they have confirmed by email that I am covered to do this type of work. So that gives me great peace of mind that I know this now.
