Payroll Manager

Payroll Manager

Didn't find your answer?

hello Everyone

I am about to start doing the payroll end of year stuff ..... P60. We have ordered HMRC P60 (portrait). Unfortunately when I print on the form the names, figures etc does not sit properly in the appropriate box. is anyone else  having experience of this and how to you put it right?

Thanks

oh

This is my first year end with Payroll Manager, but I'm hoping (assuming) that you can print a P60 straight from the software, therefore no need for pre-printed stationery??  Even better, I assume you can email the P60, to save on printing....

I stopped with the pre-printed stationery a few years ago as printing straight fro the software on plain paper is cheaper and as you are experiencing, a lot easier too

cheers

We normally print the P60 on plain paper directly from Payroll Manager and in some cases just email it to clients. However, we have a client with just under 250 employees who always want coloured P60 for all employees, hence the reason why.

Adjustment is possibel

From the HELP pages on payroll manager...

By and large, modern printers are very good at printing where they are supposed to on the page. There can, however, be small variations from one printer to another depending on the way the printer grabs the paper and feeds it in. You should therefore check the alignment of the print on your form, and if you need to make any adjustments click on the button on the report toolbar. This will allow you to move the print up or down or right or left in steps a millimetre at time. The adjustment can be specified to be for all forms, or just for the current form. For payslips, you will also be able to adjust the distance between payslips (pitch).

Colour printer?

Why not just use a colour printer & print out the complete colour P60s straight from Payroll Manager?

Saves all that faffing around with alignment.

Even better just send the P60s to the client as PDFs & let them print them out on their own colour printer!

Printing...really???

The only time i've printed anything payroll wise in the last few yrs is when a client's asked for proof of earnings for the likes of the Tax Credits office.
