Payroll software

Payroll software

Didn't find your answer?

Looking for recommendations for payroll software.

I'm currently looking after payroll for 5 clients, with one or two employees in each case.  The software must be easy to use, allow me to print payslips on plain A4 paper, be able to run year end procedure (sick of using HMRC online system) and be inexpensive.

Over to AW

Thanks in advance

Image is of a pin up style woman in a red dress with some of her skirt caught in the filing cabinet. She looks surprised.

12Pay is brilliant.

If it wasn't for already being with 12Pay I would be with Moneysoft. Never tried it but everyone raves about it, I've not heard a bad word about it.

Payroll software

Another one for moneysoft.  I wish I'd used it since the start but used sage and cannot believe how much better moneysoft is and cheaper and simpler.  Buy it!

Just to be contrary ...

We use www.Payroo.com which offers you an online (SAAS) solution rather than a locally-installed program such as the well-liked systems mentioned by the other people who replied.

It's free unless you have more than 10 employees and even then the charges are very reasonable.

Highly recommended.

Anything but Moneysoft!
No - actually - only joking...........

Moneysoft is just brilliant - but then you just might have realised that by now.

Don't think about it - just get it NOW

Hmmmm - let me see....

Just off on two weeks leave so thought I'd finish with a smile and say MONEYSOFT - have been doing payroll with all sorts of payroll software for years.  Nothing beats it.  Have run my payroll year end, distributed P60's even filed the P11d and without a backward glance.  If I was still using "they who should not be named from Newcastle", I'd still be double and triple checking everything at this stage.

Please let us know Moneysoft - do you read this and smile?  You should do.  Well done.

Same here

In similar boat myself client & size wise & have been using 12Pay with no problems, but this year I've weaned a client off of Sage instant and put them on MoneySoft.  Having used that there I have now swapped myself for all my payrolls as it is far easier - especially if employees are on fixed monthly amounts - and even if they are not.

So same here - moneysoft.

MyPAYE
One to consider is MYPAYE. Sign up for a trial at http//www.mypaye.co.uk

It can be branded as your own system with a link page on your own website.

The system is easy to use and you have the option of making payments directly from your client's accounts if you are given authority to do so.

MONEYSOFT

Another vote for Moneysoft, simple to use. This year I have had to complete a monthly CIS return for a client, never done one before, Thanks to Moneysoft I did this with no problems and the software is cheep. You can download a copy to use for 30 or 60 days and if you buy you will not lose any of the data that you have entered. This shows the confidence that Moneysoft has in its program.

MeToo!

I use Moneysoft to run an agency for 30 clients from 1 to 75 employees, and without Moneysoft I suspect I would be sunk. Just do it - you won't ever regret it.

Yes, but ...

Moneysoft also = Payroll Manager 20 - single employer up to 20 employees/sub-contractors (£55 a year), and

Moneysoft also = Payroll Manager 250 - multiple employers with up to 250 employees/sub-contractors each (£165)

as well as Payroll Manager 100 - multiple employers with up to 100 employees/sub-contractors each (£110)

as it says on the Moneysoft website.

MyPAYE

-- [email protected]

Hi. I'm a little surprised not to see MyPAYE (www.mypaye.co.uk) mentioned above, but I suppose it's a case of who drops by. MyPAYE is the online payroll solution that integrates with the likes of KashFlow, Twinfield, Xero, E-conomic and Sage 50 (and many more in the pipeline). It does everything it should and has to, to achieve HMRC accreditation as well as including an integrated BACS service and HR functionality. But unqiuely, it's white label Partner Program means that accountants/payroll bureaus can offer it via their website as their own payroll solution, which is great for brand enhancement etc.

Partner pricing is very competitive. Many partners use the included tools to streamline processes and significantly free up resources. It's all on the website!
