for about 20 companies/soletraders i complete payroll on either a weekly or monthly basis using basic paye tool from HMRC now with real time coming in april i think it would be best to purchase some nice new software. I have had a quick look at money soft and they are selling for multiply company version for clients with upto 100 staff for £134.40 (inc vat), this seems very cheap am i missing something here??
thanks

Paul Daniels Catch Phrase is.......?
In my experience it's ruddy lovely.
Integrated, easy to use and cheap. I'm sure it has its faults but for battery farming payroll and even for a few specialist providers (Umbrella companies etc) it's spot on.
No you aren't missing anything...
the software interface may be looks about ten years old, but it does the job brilliantly, including CIS and P11Ds.
It's well worth the money, as plenty of other threads on here can attest to.

Excellent!
Thats how we would sum it up!
After being with PAYMASTER, which got taken over by IRIS, we moved to Moneysoft Payroll Manager and havent looked back.
Sadly, its been taken over by IRIS, so waiting for the similar problems to arise soon, like when IRIS took over PAYMASTER
not so sad

No it hasn't
I agree - moneysoft is brilliant.
Even my father in law managed to run his company payroll for 5yrs using moneysoft before I came along & took over, but if he can fathom out how to run a payroll for 10 staff with zilch accounting / payroll training, then anyone can do it!
I almost feel guilty for charging clients to run their payroll for them - sometimes I think i should just tell them to go buy moneysoft and use it themselves, its that easy & self explanatory!

I must have missed the news. Where do you get the news? Do you have the link to the article?
