Payroll software

Payroll software

Didn't find your answer?

Now that TAS payroll is being phased out I need to look for something else if I don't want to use Sage (which I don't!)

I have mostly one man band payrolls but also a couple of much larger ones (30 plus employees).

Any ideas on which I should be looking at, or avoiding like the plague.

Many thanks

Dear Jane SD

many people - old and new post - on Aweb and we all tend to have differing opinions over most things, but Euan, one of our most respected posters summed it up succinctly in one word

MONEYSOFT !!!

we all agree on that !

PLease save youself any time and effort looking at anything else. Quite simply it is better than the rest, and at a great price.

IRIS professional payroll ...

... and if you use or plan to use the IRIS practice suite, go for the new one that integrates.

Which one integrates? Not heard anything about this one?

If you really need to ask....

Most of our users have MONEYSOFT, assuming this is for UK payroll.

Cost effective, works in any environment, never have any complaints.

Interesting thanks, although IRIS Bureau Payroll isn't the nicest product, much prefer Payroll Professional.

The usual

I'm actually a big fan of IRIS software in general, and think that it offers real value for money in terms of accounts and tax software.

That said, as far as payroll is concerned you'd have to pry Moneysoft from my cold, dead hands.

Have to say ...

... I have the original Earnie, Business with Bureau, wouldn't swap for all the Money in the world! I think it equates to payroll professional but never been really sure!

Quite Correct

It does indeed, when IRIS bought out Intex (earnie) they rebranded the software as IRIS Payroll Professional for their own customers. Definitely my favourite product from the IRIS payroll range by far.

12pay ...... all the way.

Easy to use, multi company, low cost and if needed - good telephone support.  It works!
