I have looked in the archives, but there does not seem to be anything recent on this subject.
I am looking for an economical but effective Payroll software programme , either desktop or cloud based, for a small business with between 12 and 15 employees. It needs to cope with not only RTI but also AE . Many of the employees earn well below the limits for AE, but there are 2, sometimes 3 , who are into this. To add to the joy of running this payroll, there is quite a turnover of staff at the lower end as they are mainly teenagers who work only few hours a week and go off to Uni, or decide it's not for them.
Brightpay is one that seems to be recommended in the past . Payroo 's support team does not come out that well but maybe that's now changed. Qtac is good, but quite expensive for her. I would rather avoid Sage/ Iris.
