Payslips - 31 July 2012

Payslips - 31 July 2012

Didn't find your answer?

Has anyone received (as agent) July 2012 payslips or seen word of when these are likely to appear?

Thanks to all who read and especially to all who reply.

I am not aware they are being issued

HMRC stopped the practice a few years ago now and I am not aware that it has been reinstated

Clarification

Thanks Paula

I should have worded it as the payslip coming to the agent rather than to the taxpayer where this option has been selected..

Agreed copies to agent and taxpayer have not both been sent for a number of years.

Basically the question is - when will the payslips be issued!

Thanks.

Presumably

you mean the statement with a payslip

I don't suppose this -Self Assessment payment slip - will be of any use to you?

Or this? When is your Self Assessment Statement issued? - which would suggest that statements should have been going to clients (or the agent if that was what was requested on the 64-8) from around 15 June just gone

Don't forget

it seems to take upwards of a fortnight, for HMRC post to arrive, after the date it was deemed to have been posted.

Issued last week

Some came in yesterday dated 20th June.

Amazing that HMRC were able to get them posted out so quickly considering most of their correspondence seems to take five weeks on average these days.

It's the way they print them

They print what is in the printer paper bin, so knowing that these are fairly important I would expect that the bins were stuffed with statement paper and the button pressed for a big print run...which is likely to mean that other things will have slid and be delayed I suppose.

And yes I have started to receive these from clients in the last few days
