I have a client with 2 shiny new pool cars for their estage agency, but poor logging of use.
Are there some good systems out there to track use of the vehicle via a mobile phone app or similiar? Client is looking to install GPS trackers in the vehicles in any case to stop staff taking the urine, but be great to knit the whole thing together in a simple way to keep HMRC happy and control over the vehicles.

Triplog mileage (https://triplogmileage.com/) can be used to track employees mainly through the phone but they can provide GPS tracking device too. The app/device starts as soon as you get in the vehicle and logs every trip then also can integrates with the accounting software.
A few services ago the VW garage I visit put just such a gadget under my bonnet for free without a by-or-leave.
I can use it to find my car in car-parks, it rates the smoothness of my driving and every time I fill up with diesel I get an invite to record all the details on my phone
