Post office remuneration

Withdrawal of extra-statutory concenssion

Didn't find your answer?

Hi

I prepare the accounts for a partnership which carries out a retail trade and also operates a post office from the same premises.

Does anyone know if the withdrawal of the Extra-Statutory Concession on the remuneration of sub-postmasters set out at BIM 66301 will effect how I prepare the accounts, will i still be able to post the post office salary to the P&L and then split the profit thereby using both personal allowances?

The Post office salary in this case is only paid to one of the partners

Kind Regards

Jonathan

I suppose essentially can the salary still be treated as trade receipts?
