Practice excellence 2015: Outstanding contribution to accounting category

Practice excellence 2015: Outstanding...

Didn't find your answer?

Many of you may be aware that the 2015 Practice Excellence Awards are drawing very near. For this year, we will have a brand new category: Outstanding contribution to accounting. We're looking for nominees from you, our community. The individual will have made long and significant contribution to the profession and will reflect values of practice excellence to which you all aspire. The person can be in practice or retired, a thought leader or a practice excellence guru -- and not specifically a member of AccountingWEB either.

We've thought of a few names here at the Aweb offices, people like Steve Pipe, John Whiting, Paul Dunn, David Maister and Richard Mannion. This is the quality we're looking for. They are only suggestions though, and we'd love to hear your thoughts.

This open to everyone's suggestions and you're opinions will have a real effect on the outcome. If we receive enough suggestions, we will put together a shortlist and again open it up to the community. We will also consult the esteemed Practice Excellence judge panel.

And of course keep your eyes peeled on the progress. It's not too late to grab a ticket to the conference to see the award handed in person! We look forward to your responses.

Mike Truman
More tax than general practice, but I think he deserves it in recognition of his influence over his career.

Paul Dunn

I`d say Paul Dunn as he certainly changed the way I looked at running my practice.  He is giving back so much now through his initiative B1G1 and still speaks worldwide when most people would be slowing down!
