Practice rubber stamps - Digital stamps?

Practice rubber stamps - Digital stamps?

Didn't find your answer?

For those bank certificate requests where you are asked to provide your accountant "stamp", what do you do in practice?

Do you have a rubber stamp for your practice?

Maybe you just send your letterhead?

or do you use some digital alternative?

Interested to know as rubber stamps don't seem very 2014....

We have one!

A rubber stamp, that is.

It gets used about once per year, if that. The bespoke self inking stamps are really cheap, so why mess about with alternatives?

Stamp

Yes, a rubber stamp.  Cheap and cheerful and used maybe a couple of times a year!

stamp it out

No stamp. Never used one in >15 years in practice.

One day, lenders will catch up. And intelligent people will work for them. Well, maybe not.

I generally just staple a business card on the section where it says stamp here!

Yes - well used

We use our rubber stamp mainly for putting the return address on the back of outgoing post - though admittedly there's less and less of that these days (snail mail that is). It sits alongside the stamps for 'Received [date]' and 'Private & Confidential'.

Might have used it once or twice for lender's references, though we tend to send letters to them regardless, as we can then include the usual disclaimer(s).

Had to get a stamp

We had to get a stamp in the end as it was going to hold up things for the client.

I really don't know what the stamp proves, other than you are capable of ordering a stamp.

Thanks!

Thanks for all the suggestions.

@Cardigan - I agree that's all it proves!

I'll probably go with stapling a business card from now on - though will give the letterhead and including disclaimers some thought too

Proof of ID

Banks don't seem to have moved with the times in the matter of proof of ID.

Nevertheless, I've never had or needed one.

Insert a logo

I complete them online and just insert an image of my firms logo in the stamp box.
