Probate forum for Accountants

Is anyone involved in or have they come across a forum for accountants dedicated to Probate

Didn't find your answer?

I am not sure if this type of post is allowed, but I thought I would give it a try.

If a forum dedicated to discussing Probate issues for Accountants does not exist, would other practicing accountants who are authorised or licensed to conduct probate related work be interested in joining? This is something we could set up.

I have found that on this website, content is very thin and would be intrested in connecting with individuals and firms who are performing probate related work to share ideas, and use it as forum to faciliate discussions around barriers and ways of enhancing the service offering.

If you are interested, please send me a direct message.

Many thanks.

Who is "we" and have you discussed this with the owners of this site?

To clarify (as your reply is capable of more than one interpretation... although I acknowledge it could just be that tax work has destroyed my ability to read simple English) by "this" I think you mean "the idea of setting up such a forum". (As opposed to, say, "have you cleared this post with the site owners?")

Good idea.

OP, just accountants? You'd exclude other, knowledgeable, probate practitioners?

We could go beyond accountants, and include those that you mention in your response.

My starting point was accountants who offer Probate services. I think it would be beneficial to have such a forum as this service offering for accountants is relatively new and it would be interesting to hear the issues/ obstacles that others are facing with this service offering and how they have resolved these.
