This morning I've tried to submit two requests for authorisation codes on the HMRC Authorise Client system - one a SA case and the other a CT case. In both cases they have failed at the first hurdle - the system says some of the information provided is incorrect.
In the SA case I've taken the UTR, NI No & postcode from the prior year SA Return that was submitted by the previous accountant & accepted electonically so I assume the data is correct.
In the CT case again I've taken the UTR & Registration number from the prior year CT Return that was submitted by the previous accountant & accepted electonically.
Has anyone else had this problem?
