PSC QUERY

If PSC is a partnership

Didn't find your answer?

PSC Declaration query.

I need to complete a PSC for a colleague whose Limited Company (registered in Scotland) is 90% owned by a un incorporated partnership/trust based in Scotland.

The partnership consists of four equal partners.

My question is, is it OK to put the partnership name i.e. ABC Partnership on the PSC declaration or are you legally required to detail the individual partners as they each own 25% of the partnership which owns 90% of the limited company.

Any comments would be appreciated.

In Scotland a partnership is a legal person distinct from the partners of whom it is composed-Partnership Act 1890, section 4(2).

Do I therefore take it that the partnership name is therefore sufficient for the PSC declaration ?
