Purchasing A Company

Didn't find your answer?

Maybe a silly question.

Someone buys all of the shares in a ltd co.

100 £1 shares for £20,000.

Is their a journal entry to deal with this transaction in the company?

100 shares at £1 each for 20k? Who is this person? I'd love to sell him/her my 200k house for a quick half a mil.
