Didn't find your answer?

Hello, I have an oversea entity incorporated  VIRGIN ISLANDS, BRITISH, and the company has a property which I rented out, my question is how do I prepare my annual accounts(self assessment or coopration tax), is there a contact number for this depoartment in hmrc?

You need an accountant.

Other professional bodies are available.

HMRC do not provide this service so there is no point in (trying to) ring them.

This isnt a free tax/accountancy helpline.

HMRC dont give advice on how to prepare accounts. In fact, dont ask them for help with tax either because they often get that wrong.

You need an Accountant, or two, one in the BVI as well as in the UK.

Suggest finding an accountant in both jurisdictions.

Did you take advice before putting the property into the British Virgin Islands company? The same people that put you in that situation should also have provided or be providing advice on what needs to be done.

If they're not, maybe it wasn't a good idea in the first place.
