quick auto enrolment question

about postponement

Didn't find your answer?

If the employer decides postponement for up to 3 months, do employees have right that no postponement and that employer enrolls them in the scheme from staging date? thanks

what an utterly nonsensical farce - since they are shifting down to business owners the responsibility of providing for the employees retirement, couldn't at least they make these regulations they call auto enrolment less complicated and obnoxious for poor employers and their advisers to comply with?

Given that it took about 1 second to find that link in Google, it's hardly making the regulations complicated or obnoxious.

Perhaps you meant to say for poor employers with poor advisers?

missing the point and spirit - and thanks for the insult btw on a topic which is not even an accounting matter strictly speaking.

Yes employees do have the right to opt in to the pension scheme even if the Employer postpones for three months.

I think you'll find that most contributors on this site thank those that have taken to time out of their day to answer a question. It's just good manners.

I completely agree with byCloudcounter, this question could have been answered in a matter of seconds by looking at The Pensions Regulator's website. Simples!

you too miss the point and spirit of my comment. nothing to do with how quickly you find the answer - its to do with the complexity of the system. do you keep stats how many OP thank all the contribution on this site? Nothing to do with being rude. of course I am grateful for the replies and that is why i always thank for all replies in my original post in advance. And I note that not one word from you about the reply to me being rude and offensive!
